Café Hillel`s Kiryat Anavim branch was designed under the wide concept of My neighborhood coffee shop. As part of a coffee shop chain each branch differentiates itself by blending into its local environment and absorbing inspiration from the surrounding, in this case Kibutz and farming life.
We designed an eclectic, natural and informal space using oak wood, concreate, bricks and metal. The building of the coffee shop is defined as a preservation site and was one of the first diaries in the country. From this came the inspiration for the blue color for the main bar and the floor that was designed as a grid of wood boards reinforced with special concrete casting. The front facade was reconstructed and preserved its ruff concrete look which gives the place the natural and aroma we were looking for.
